- Yitahome Full Body Massage Chair
- Forever Rest FR-6KSL Massage Chair (Excellent Value)

Out of the chairs above, the Fumassa is the most affordable at under $1000.
If you’re looking for a no-fuss, easy-to-use massage chair that offers an all-over massage with lower back heating, this is an excellent choice.
I also think the price is excellent for the number of features it has.
The best overall massage chair in my opinion is the Relaxonchair MK-II.
It’s right on the edge of the budget for this article but offers several high-tech features that make the extra investment worth it.
Relaxonchair is known for its reliability and quality, and the MK-II is no exception to this, making it my top pick out of all the models reviewed today.
The Forever Rest FR-6KSL is a close second for my top pick for this article, and the best value for money.
It offers a comprehensive massage and has several excellent features such as a space-saving recliner and zero gravity that make it a high-tech chair but for a considerable amount less than the Relaxonchair.
A note on the Kahuna LM 6800
If you’ve been doing lots of research on massage chairs in this price range, you might have noticed that the Kahuna LM 6800 is featured in a lot of other reviews, but it hasn’t been included in my list.
This is because the LM 6800 isn’t under $2000!
Whilst it’s a very good and affordable chair, we want to bring quality, accurate information to my readers, and that means only including chairs that fall into the price range of my article.

Reviews of the 6 Best Massage Chairs Under $2000
Fumassa Zero Gravity Massage Chair Recliner
Most Affordable!
The Fumassa Massage Chair Recliner is an exceptionally affordable massage chair, particularly considering how many amazing features it has.
Its features include 16 airbags positioned throughout the chair, 8 massage rollers in the backrest, and even foot rollers for those tired feet after a long day.
There are 3 levels for both the airbag strength and the speed controls, so you can adjust them as needed. The yoga stretching system improves circulation and relaxes you before the massage functions do their work.
This model also features a zero gravity design with 3 position options, an S-track massage roller, infrared wavelength heating, Bluetooth connectivity, and a space-saving design.
It’s a great option for shorter people, and will accommodate growing teenagers and adults under 6’1″.
The 3-year warranty offers free maintenance and repair for defects in the first year, but only door-to-door service for the following 2 years.
Howan New Massage Chair
This multifunctional massage chair has several functions to relieve tension and relax those muscles.
There are 8 fixed massage rollers in the back and waist, plus multiple airbags that cover the rest of your body to alleviate any tension and soreness.
The zero gravity function helps lower your blood pressure for a more soothing massage.
You can adjust the rollers and airbags for varying massage techniques or choose one of the 5 preset functions.
The tablet remote control is attached to the chair, giving you full access to the controls at all times. The built-in waist heater enhances any of your massage choices.
A retractable footstool and rolling wheel let you move the chair with ease. You can also add your favorite music to your relaxation using the Bluetooth connection.
Yitahome Full Body Massage Chair
The Yitahome Full Body Massage Chair has a double-track system that includes an S-track for massaging your neck down to your waist and an L-track for soothing the area between your waist and upper thighs. These offer the perfect ergonomic design for the best experience possible.
The 3D robot soft rollers mimic the feel of actual hands for the most authentic experience possible, no matter which massage selection you’ve chosen.
There are massage options in 12 total, including six each of the auto and manual modes. These selections offer varying techniques to soothe your muscles based on your specific needs at any given time.
There are 2 zero gravity angles to choose from, as well as 2 heating areas near the waist.
This chair comes fully assembled, with a space-saving design which makes it a great option for small spaces.
Forever Rest FR-6KSL Massage Chair
Excellent Value for Money!
The FR-6KSL is a stylish massage chair that comes in 3 color options, black, white, and brown.
It features an SL-track frame design, with smart back-quad rollers that move from your neck down to your buttocks, massaging these areas and everything in between.
It also includes a Smart 3D Body Detection system that scans your body and customizes your massage perfectly.
A full-body airbag system works your shoulders, arms, hands, calves, and feet, with 5 intensity levels to get the blood flowing and soothe aching muscles, though it can be a bit tight on the legs.
A built-in heater in the lower back relieves tight, sore muscles in this area.
Other handy features include a one-touch zero gravity button, Bluetooth-enabled speakers, and a space-saving design.
When you compare the quality of the massage options and the additional features in this massage chair with the price, it is the best value for money out of all the models in this article. I highly recommend this chair to anyone looking for the best mix of cost and value.
Relaxonchair MK-II Plus Massage Chair
Best Overall!
The Relaxonchair MK-II Plus has a few upgrades from the original model, like the Intelligent Body Scanning that measures your upper body length and shape, detects pressure points, and creates a customized massage.
It uses an SL-Track and strategically placed airbags to offer varying massage techniques to relieve your pain and soothe those tired muscles all over your body.
There are 4 automatic and 3 manual massage techniques, 3 levels of airbag intensity, and 3 massage speeds to choose from using the handy built-in remote control.
There are also deep tissue massage, beauty hip massage, and full-body stretching, as well as lower back heating from the two heating pads in the lower back area.
Even your arms, calves, and feet are included in the massages, though some find the foot rollers to be too intense.
Whilst the Relaxonchair is the most expensive model in this article, it’s also got the best features. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for, and if you’re willing to spend just that little bit more for a high-quality massage experience, this is the chair I’d recommend.
Titan Pro Alpha Full Body Massage Chair
This premium massage chair from Titan uses an advanced L-track that starts at the neck and moves down the back to the hamstrings.
You can choose the settings you want or use one of the 6 auto massage programs, including the Chiro mode for full-body relaxation or the Swedish mode for a better night’s sleep.
The adjustable head pillow is a unique feature not found on most other models. It unfolds to create a full back pillow, which helps reduce the intensity of any massage when needed.
The dual-action foot rollers offer 2 massage types, plus they offer 3 airbag intensities and speeds.
Other great features include the space-saving design, adjustable shoulder width, and Bluetooth connection.
It’s even got a 2-stage zero gravity feature, which I think is an excellent option for those who feel heavy or compressed in their back, or who have poor circulation in the legs.
It also comes with a 3-year standard warranty.
What To Look For When Purchasing A Massage Chair Under $2000
Massage chairs can range from under $1000 to over $10,000 and each price range offers a different set of features, quality, and performance.
It’s important to know what to expect from a massage chair under $2000 so you can accurately compare its value to its cost.
Here is a list of things to look out for when selecting the massage chair for you.
Value vs Price
Typically a higher-priced massage chair will include a lot of additional features such as air diffusers, LED lights, and multiple language options for the display, as well as a more holistic massage experience including pre-set massage programs and different massage techniques.
If you’re simply looking for a decent massage chair that is durable, robust, and provides a good massage for your back, shoulders, hips, and legs, one around the $2000 price range will suit you fine.
Contrary to popular belief, these cheaper massage chairs are usually just as durable and long-lasting as their more expensive counterparts.
The price difference is generally found in the lack of additional features or limitations with their massage capabilities.
And if you think about it, purchasing a massage chair around this price is extremely cost-effective in the long run.
If you often go to get a massage and usually spend about $80 per session, a $2000 massage chair is the equivalent of only 25 sessions.
That means that if you usually go to get a massage every 2 weeks, but instead switch to a massage chair, the massage chair will pay for itself in one year.
That’s a pretty good return, particularly considering that a massage chair should last you well over 3 years.
And keep in mind that a lot of the models reviewed in this article are less than $2000, so you’ll make your money back even quicker.
Roller Track
There are 2 roller track options available, the S-type and the L-type.
The S-type moves along your spine from your neck and works down your back.
Though it uses a similar movement, the L-type adds a longer track length, extending the reach of the massage rollers from your neck right down to your glutes or even your hamstrings.
Some chairs even combine these technologies for more massage options.
Massage chairs also offer varying roller arrays, including dual-rollers, tri-rollers, quad-rollers, and even a 6-roller option. These are designed to mimic the hands of a masseuse, with more rollers simulating multiple hands.
The right one for you will depend on the particular points in your body you want to be massaged.
Typically, an L track and additional rollers will be more costly than an S track, but I do recommend the L track if you can afford it as it provides a more comprehensive massage.
Massage Options
There are many different massage options that a massage chair can offer.
They may include zone massages that focus on specific areas, air massage to increase circulation and reduce stiffness, or deep tissue massage for chronic or intense pain.
They may even use standard vibration plates to relieve your tension and sore muscles.
Some models feature a stretch mode, which includes a built-in airbag system that holds your body firmly in place for a lengthy, relaxing stretch.
This gets all of your muscles ready for a deep tissue massage by loosening any knots.
The more massage options that a massage chair has, the more expensive it generally is. Think about what parts of your body you want to massage the most and select the chair that will target these areas the best.
Heat
Combining heat with massage helps loosen those muscles to increase flexibility while reducing pain.
Most quality massage chairs include some form of heat, either for lower back pain or full-body therapy.
I recommend getting a heat option if you can, particularly for those who suffer from stiff joints.
Zero Gravity
Massage chairs that offer the zero-gravity feature recline farther back to help decompress your spine and joints and reduce pressure on your lower back.
They also lift your feet over your heart level to stimulate circulation.
Zero gravity is a great option for those who want that extra level of comfort and therapy out of their chair.
MP3/Bluetooth
Though MP3 and Bluetooth functions have nothing to do with the effectiveness of the massage your chair may offer, they do allow you to listen to music while in your chair.
SSD card slots, USB ports, and even Bluetooth capabilities can help you relax with your favorite tunes while the massager does its work.
This feature is great because it means you don’t have to wear uncomfortable headphones while having a massage.
However, if you’re after a no-frills chair, then it’s fine to opt for a model that doesn’t include Bluetooth connectivity.
Warranty
The warranty of any product determines your coverage if the chair you’ve purchased isn’t living up to your expectations.
The longer the warranty and the more features that are covered, the more comfortable you’ll be spending such a high amount on your new massage chair.
Always check the warranty before making any purchases, and ensure you’re clear on what is covered, as some warranties only cover certain parts, don’t include labor, or might have several other exclusions that you should be aware of.
